2. Bridge treatment requirements

Ensure that the cement concrete bridge deck is dry and clean before the construction of the waterproof bonding layer.

(3) Before the construction of the waterproof bonding layer of the bridge deck, the treatment quality of the bridge deck should be checked, and the inspection items and standards are listed in the table below.

3. Cleaning of the base layer of the bridge deck beam

(1) Use shot peening equipment to blast and brush the bridge deck

(2) For the surface of the concrete bridge deck foundation, first manually clean a large amount of gravel and sand, manually clean up the loose debris, and use slag cleaners, milling machines and other mechanical equipment to treat the bridge deck, requiring no floating slurry, flat, clean, no clear water, and clean surface.


4. Preparation of construction machinery

(1) A spraying machine should be used to spray the waterproof coating of roads and bridges over a large area, and spray at room temperature. If the construction area is small, manual painting can also be used.

(2) Before construction, the spraying machine and spraying pipe should be thoroughly cleaned, and the material should be completely cleaned before loading, and no residue of the previous batch of materials is allowed.

(3) Inspect each nozzle before construction, and each nozzle does not have any blockage to ensure that the construction process is carried out normally. The sprayer is strictly prohibited from heating with fire and spraying at room temperature.

(4) The spraying machine should be rinsed immediately after spraying.


5. Waterproof adhesive layer spraying

(1) After the water washed by the bridge deck is dried, the special waterproof coating for roads and bridges can be sprayed with a spraying machine.

(2) It should be sprayed in layers, and it should be completed 3~4 times. The latter pass should be cured into a film in the direction of the previous pass and perpendicular to the previous pass.

(3) The construction temperature should be 5°C~35°C. The temperature is less than 5 °C and rainy days (including rain within 6 hours after construction) are not allowed to be constructed.


6. Waterproof layer maintenance

(1) During the construction process, it is strictly forbidden to step on the undried work surface, and strictly prevent nails, wooden sticks, steel bars and other sharp objects from artificially damaging the work surface.

(2) After the waterproof layer is dry, it should be carried out as soon as possibleAsphalt mixtur+Paving. Before paving asphalt, the method of spreading fine-grained asphalt mixture on the surface of the waterproof layer can be used to make an isolation layer to prevent damage to the coating film
