The daily inspection of bridge bearings can be carried out according to the three-step method of "first inspection, second inspection, and third record", and the operation points are as follows:


Look at the appearance


Standing in a visible position on the bridge pier or deck, use a telescope or camera to conduct a 360 ° panoramic view of the support, focusing on whether the rubber is cracked, bulging, or detached, whether the steel plate is corroded, and whether the dust cover is damaged; Visually inspect whether there is any gap or misalignment between the support and the cushion stone, and whether the displacement exceeds the limit.

Using inspection ladders or bridge inspection vehicles for close range verification:


Whether the rubber protective layer is cracked, hardened, or aged, and whether the rubber protrusion is uniform;


Whether the anchor bolts and nuts are loose, cut, or corroded;


Whether the sliding surface is dry and lacks oil, and whether the PTFE plate is worn and exposed;


Remove debris, oil stains, and accumulated water around the support to prevent corrosion and jamming.


Record data


Fill in the description and photos of weather, temperature, and support defects according to the "Daily Inspection Record Form". If any Grade III or above defects are found, report them immediately and include them in the maintenance plan.


Inspection frequency: once a day for Class I bridges, once every three days for Class II bridges, and once a week for Class III bridges in the city; Special weather or heavy vehicle traffic should be patrolled.
